Sponsor Our Events

By sponsoring one of our events, you can help us to raise vital funds that will enable us to continue our important work and services in the community, for people experiencing homelessness, poverty or severe housing stress.

With the cost of living skyrocketing and the housing crisis deepening, our 2023 Hunter Homeless Connect Day event was unprecedented in terms of attendance.

We had 130 homelessness and community services registered to provide support on the ground (plus approximately 1500 associated staff attending throughout the day) 60 volunteers on hand, multiple groups of students and local organisations visiting and over 1400 guests coming through the gates to access support. In total, we hosted over 3000 people throughout the day.

We broke all of our attendance records since the inception of the event back in 2009.

This was no surprise to any of us in the sector. The level of need in the community right now is far exceeding what support services can cope with, and the high level of activity and interaction that was maintained throughout the day between services and people seeking support, is a stark reminder of the dire situation that many are finding themselves in right now.

To cater for the exponential growth of the event, we now need to relocate from the Exhibition Centre into the Entertainment Centre space in 2024 and this will cost us $35,000.00.

We are seeking financial sponsors to help us with the expenses, including venue and equipment hire, insurances and incidentals.

We are open to welcoming a naming rights sponsor, to provide most of the financial support or three headline sponsors at $10,000.00 each.

We have launched our exciting new corporate social responsibility initiative which could see your staff and brand, take on the adventure of a lifetime across the East Coast of Tasmania with us!

We are seeking three sponsors at $5,000.00 each, to help us fund the management costs of this adventure, so that all funds raised by participants, go directly towards the continuation of our annual Hunter Homeless Connect Day event, the distribution of our Community Directory and the facilitation of our Connecting the Hunter program.

We have the potential to raise over $70,000.00 with this single event and this will be integral for the continuation of our services and programs in the coming years.

Sponsorship, includes the opportunity for each organisation to send one staff member on the adventure of a lifetime, trekking the beautiful east coast of Tasmania with us.

It’s a four day (medium fitness level) hike, across coastal Tasmania, with like-minded people who’ll be challenging themselves ‘for good’.
