Path 2 Change is a non-for-profit organisation that provides assistance to young people in the Newcastle and Hunter region. Path 2 Change provides secular, client-centred, and strength-based case management to young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, in the Newcastle and Hunter region.
Warlga Ngurra is a Specialist Homelessness Service (SHS). SHS is a NSW government program that responds to people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. SHS in NSW went through an extensive reform program between 2012 and 2014, with the ambition to focus on prevention & early intervention to those at risk. Homelessness is often created through domestic, family & community violence.
The purpose of the Tomaree Neighbourhood Centre is a not for profit organisation that identifies local community needs, provides relevant information, referral and other services to empower and improve the quality of life for community members and groups.
Doorways aims to support people as they seek to make changes in their lives. We believe everyone has the capacity to change and Doorways caseworkers walk alongside people as they develop plans to achieve their goals.
We know that life is not always easy. Unexpected expenses can pop up, circumstances can change and at times our financial situation can feel overwhelming. For people living on low incomes, every week can be a struggle. Hope Cottage is open every Tuesday 10.00am – 12.00pm. A place to ‘drop in’, a place to find a listening ear. We also provide emergency food relief to help make life a little bit easier for local individuals and families doing it tough.

Were involved in national issues while also bringing hope to people who may be experiencing hardship or injustice.
ITEC Youth (previously Safe Pathways) was established in 2011 by ITEC Group Australias Managing Director, Lynn Walker; to provide child protection and residential care homes in Northern Territory and Queensland. Now operating under the umbrella of ITEC Group Australia, ITEC Youth has grown to provide services in Queensland, Northern Territory and New South Wales with a view to expand further nationally.
